- The photo was taken 1985 in the National Archeologic Museum in Athens with a Yashica FXD SLR and Zeiss Tessar 50mm on Kodachrome 100 slide film, Tripods were not allowed.

Oppose dark and lacks of sharpness. I'm not a big fan of the composition either, I prefer the overall view CyrilB 20:24, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- There is a window on top of the left wall near the corner. I just tried to make it disappear behind the statue. And without a tripod I had to hold my breath to release with 1/30 sec. -- AM 15:32, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- This is the problem of judging an image: our comments go to the result, not to the means to get it. I can tell the image is very good for the conditions you describe, but I'm afraid I wouldn't consider it as one of "the finest images on commons". CyrilB 18:55, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- I could have sharpened it. But I like the texture of the bronze. All the other pics of this statue don't show it. -- AM 21:55, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
