Image:Japanfukuokabikes.JPG, not featured[edit]
- Nominate and Support: Not just a great photo (if a tad too contrasty, I think), but a resolution good enough to print full size. -- Oarih 07:04, 7 May 2005 (UTC)

- Maybe it's an unfair comparison, but I'm a bit curious why a photo like this is being opposed on account of it being blurry or grainy - when blown up to full resolution - whereas yesterday's Tokyo by night photo was at an incredibly low resolution (for which Japanfukuokabies wouldn't be blurry or grainy) and even today's banana picture is very low-res and nevertheless exhibits some nasty jpeg artefacts and digital camera chromatic abberation. -- Oarih 04:12, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
- I haven't voted for either of those (and I would oppose them as well). Dori | Talk 05:37, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
- Right, well, fair enough :) -- Oarih 06:53, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, please note, that there's no connection between the "picture of the day" (the tokyo and the banana image) and the "featured pictures". Both are no featured pictures norro 11:28, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

- (somewhat offtopic) Something that annoys me is when we refuse high-res pictures on grounds that they are slightly "blurry" but we accept low-res pictures. A slightly blurry high-res picture can be converted to a sharp low-res picture. David.Monniaux 06:06, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, that's why the best looking version should be submitted I guess. Dori | Talk 04:19, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

- Oppose. Grainy. Resolution ought to be decreased to sharpen it. --Hautala 12:20, 19 May 2005 (UTC)
