  •  Info Axillary wrasse (Symphodus mediterraneus), Arrábida National Park, Portugal. This species of wrasse is native to the eastern Atlantic Ocean from the Azores and Madeira to the coasts of Portugal to Morocco and then along the coastal waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Found in eelgrass beds at depths from 1 to 50 m (3.3 to 164.0 ft) it can reach 18 cm (7.1 in) in standard length, though most do not exceed 12 cm (4.7 in). This species is a food fish, game fish and can also be found in the aquarium trade. Axillary wrasses are oviparous, males are nest-makers and it feeds mainly on mollusks, gastropods, bivalves, tubicolous worms, chitons, sea urchins and bryozoans. Note: we've one FP of this genus but no FP of this species. c/u/n by Poco a poco (talk) 20:59, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Support Considering the size of the fish, which is beautiful, the details are quite good. I also like the composition. The water is fairly noisy (roiled?) at full size, but the solution is not to try to pixel-peep the background. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:26, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
