- The witches' pass (or Passo delle Streghe) is one of the attractions of San Marino, it is a shortcut that leads from the first tower (Guaita) to the second tower (Cesta) depicted in the background. It puts everyone in great fear due to the steep slope and the overhang on the sides. In the background the fortifications near the tower are literally devoured by nature every spring, each time giving a charm of mystery to the castle located on Mount Titan. - Comment A very nice view and I would be happy to support it. But (sorry to say this) at the branches at the left there are some odd transitions – see image note; maybe a stacking error? It would be great if you could fix this. Sorry again, – Aristeas (talk) 16:17, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comment. Yes, it was clearly a stacking error. It happens sometimes when the weather is windy or in this case, maybe I didn't rotate the camera precisely..., luckily I had spare shots, so I decided to re-process the new combo's images, cropping out minor disturbing blur benches parts declaring the new composition as retouched. - Support It would be great if you could document the amount of frames you require for a shot like this one Poco a poco (talk) 15:32, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- There are 18 stitched portrait images (6x3). I used Hugin (a free software) to merge all the images. Each image has a resolution of 24 megapixels (4000x6000), but I mainly only used the central parts of the images (2200x3300), because they offer greater guarantees of success being sharper than the edge. - Oppose IMO a bit busy composition, dull light. —kallerna (talk) 10:51, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
