- Support The blue boat: an eye sore, or rather a positive and contrasting element which makes the image a little bit special? The oversaturation is inevitable with that kind of light. - Info Hey all, I apologize that it took me so long to respond. I'm still traveling and currently don't have that much time to go online for private purposes. With that said, the picture very much reflects what I've seen that evening in Cairo. If people think the boat is too blue, that's totally ok with me. Sometimes, things look different when you are in a foreign country like Egypt. And that doesn't mean that everybody has to be on board with how I perceived that situation. For me, the boat was just blue and I like Yann's perspective of thinking of the blue boat as a feature of the picture. Thanks a lot for all your comments and also for expressing your opinion. I'm fine with this photo either being featured or not. As always, I very much appreciate the time that you're putting into the review process.
