Comment the duck not being in its natural habitat does not adversely affect the photo; in fact, in quite an opposite fashion it contributes to the artistic and scientific value of the piece. the duck is standing on paving stones, placed by humans. creatures such as mallards have quite happily integrated themselves into our artificial world. thus, in a way, these paving stones are no less this mallard's habitat than the man-made canal on which it swims. 86.172.85.134 20:38, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
