- Info Ok, this nomination is really a gamble (and I'm crazy enough to try), given that the photo is taken with a mobile and hence not a perfect quality, but I think it is worth a shot since the composition is so unusual for a band pic, emulating old church paintings. The blue on the wall is light from colored spotlights that illuminate the ruin. Created by Ainali - uploaded by Ainali - nominated by W.carter -- w.carter-Talk 11:03, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

- weak sorry, but the blown highlights are a deal breaker here --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 11:12, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose mostly per Martin Falbisoner. The irritating lighting, especially the blue beams, is actually distracting the viewer’s eyes off the musicians. The window panes spoil the location a bit, too. Would at least need a higher vantage point to get the backlighting windows out of the frame. Some additional light from the front would help as well. Overall quality is not sufficient IMHO for a 9 mpix candidate taken in 2016. --Kreuzschnabel 11:39, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- Just curious about your last comment, are you saying that if it would have been taken earlier you would have thought the quality was sufficient? Ainali (talk) 18:05, 14 August 2016 (UTC)

- I withdraw my nomination Don't worry, can't say I'm surprised that the tech side weighs heavier than the artistic bit. It was worth a try though. Thanks! w.carter-Talk 17:36, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- Comment @User:W.carter - At least for me it was just the issue regarding the highlights, not the cell phone per se...! --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 06:05, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- I know Martin, I was mostly refering to the technical quality of the picture versus the artistic impression of it rather than the sort of camera itself. I was perhaps too breif. w.carter-Talk 08:04, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
