YannF. Riedelio - Support Harmonious composition of a simple cup. -- Yann (talk) 09:17, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
- Comment Hi F. Riedelio, nice photo, but the name is a bit too ambiguous for an FPC. Could you suggest a name that better describes the image? --Cart (talk) 10:17, 6 May 2024 (UTC)

- Comment The crop is a bit too tight in my opinion to make it to FP. --PierreSelim (talk) 12:21, 6 May 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose Sorry, for me that is an empty cup. Nothing inside visible. -- -donald- (talk) 10:12, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

- Thanks for the review. Description improved.
- The photo should represent a cup and not its contents.
- As the espresso is served in a half-full cup (about 40 ml), the contents would not be visible from this angle. F. Riedelio • 💬 10:34, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose When you try shots like this, you will have to clean all dust around. For instance, i spent 2-3 h with clock. Also, as above, cup is empty, its just a cup, so cookie and coffee would be nice, now just cookie without coffee and pic is named per coffee. Third objection, spoon could be new or without wearing scratches. I dont see EXIF, but this should be sharp photo (stacked image), here seems like one shot on to much closed Aperture. --Mile (talk) 10:31, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Just a language note: This model of small cups are called "espresso cups" even if they are empty. It's a name for the cup size. (example) --Cart (talk) 10:59, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- If you put cookie, than i would expect coffee too. Now its a bit spoiled, both or none. It could see size by spoon. --Mile (talk) 11:48, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. Many thanks for the review and the tips.
- Unfortunately, the EXIF data has been lost due to the export from Lightroom. F. Riedelio • 💬 11:54, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- If you have some info about how the photo was made, even if the EXIF is lost, you can use the Template:Photo Information to add info to the file page. Just add it after the "Summary" section and fill in the parameters you want to display. --Cart (talk) 12:04, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

- Weak oppose I believe that some of Mile's comments are too strict (like straches in the spoon) but he has got a point regarding the cookie with an empty cup. I also find the level of detail not the best for an studio photo. I'd have probably used focus stacking here Poco a poco (talk) 19:16, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose Per Mile. —kallerna (talk) 10:48, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

- F. Riedelio, do you want to take over the nomination from Yann? You don't have any current nominations yourself so you can do that and let the nom continue until the end of the voting period if you like. If you say yes, I'll fix the code for the takeover for you. Also, you should not have uploaded the cup with coffee over the original photo, but instead uploaded it as a separate new file especially since the empty cup file has been assessed as a QI. This is a too big change. The empty cup image is valuable for the wiki project too, we need both. The filled in cup should have been offered as an 'Alternative' on this nom, or perhaps as a completely new nom. This needs to be sorted out, I can help you if you like. --Cart (talk) 15:20, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- I would like to continue the nomination. After this extensive discussion, I am looking forward to the outcome. Thank you in advance for your support.
- I have restored the older version of "Gray espresso cup with amaretto.jpg" and uploaded the modified photo as a new file "Gray espresso cup with amaretto 1.jpg". F. Riedelio • 💬 17:45, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for that, you are now in charge of this nomination.
- You might also want to take a look at the coffee in File:Gray espresso cup with amaretto 1.jpg, the right side of the coffee looks like it's not totally ok. Good luck with your nom! --Cart (talk) 18:16, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
