- Oppose This may be a case of having "seen it before" since there have been quite a few of these nominations recently, but I'm also thinking about the standards we have gotten used to. Is this photo extraordinary, something exceptional? The sky is OK, with some nice clouds, but other than that, the light isn't great. The resolution isn't very high compared to the levels we have come to expect; we have had some really big panoramas in this same series recently, so this one doesn't reach the same level. The composition - again, nothing really wrong with it, but it feels like a tourist shot taken from a boat, a bit too easy. On the whole, then, no. As I've seen better in the not too distant past, this is not exceptional enough for me.--Peulle (talk) 10:39, 28 July 2018 (UTC)

- Abstain Per Peulle. Did not even open the image : straight feeling of déjà vu -- Basile Morin (talk) 13:11, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose Per Peulle. Also image downsized IMO -- George Chernilevsky talk 14:10, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose Pretty much per Peulle. I haven't really been here for a while, so no déjà vu for me. Still doesn't really talk to me. I'm sure that glacier has enormous amounts if "WOW" in real life, but I don't get that feeling from the image. --El Grafo (talk) 14:12, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - I have to agree with the others. You might want to nominate something other than glaciers with gray skies for a while, unless you've got more photos of such a scene that are absolutely amazing. Strategically, giving people a variety of different subjects to look at can work better in appealing to voters. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:21, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
