  •  Oppose At first glance, I like the symmetry of this image. However, I can see some details as to the quality. The sky is observed noisy and some artifacts that waste overall quality (see statue at the height of the Capitol). Additionally, there are people who hinder the composition. Obviously shadows were lifted without gain details, noise reduction inefficient. Poor quality and artifacts widespread --The Photographer (talk) 20:23, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment Now honestly, the sky isn't really noisy - imo. I shot at ISO 100, applying exposure to the right i.e. deliberately overexposing the picture. That's why I didn't lift shadows, actually I even lowered some very bright areas a bit. As far as the general IQ in the extreme corners is concerned: This is basically as good as it gets (unfortunately), using an ultra wide angle zoom on a full format camera. At least to me it seems impossible to get a better image from this position without stitching techniques and/or (maybe) using very expensive prime lenses. And as the capitol complex is extremely popular with tourists, photographers, and local joggers alike, I was very happy just having to deal with a comparatively small number of people in the image... Any other oppinions here? --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 21:09, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Info new version! I denoised the image a bit more and tried to improve some details. Still, only minor changes. --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 21:31, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well done. Remove the peoples and I will change my vote, thanks --The Photographer (talk) 22:37, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Too dark foreground, there is more potential in this pic. -- -donald- (talk) 07:22, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  I withdraw my nomination I'll withdraw this image and upload a new picture of my capitol series that might address the issues mentioned here better --08:42, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
