The chick is in a hatching factory I expect, there is equipment used there, like incubators and cages. The chick is standing in what looks a lot like a spoon, used to reach out to the bottom of the cage that the chick is in and pick it up. Without the handle, it would look strange to chicken wranglers. Penyulap ☏ 11:10, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
