Drew Doughty
[edit]Hello. If you create a new category for a person, as you did for Drew Doughty, please don't forget to switch all the categories that pertain to the subject from each of the individual images (e.g. Category:Ice hockey defensemen, Category:Los Angeles Kings players, etc.) to the new category, otherwise we run afoul of COM:OVERCAT. Thanks.--Skeezix1000 (talk) 13:41, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your note! Usually I'm working on Wikipedia, and this is the learning curve in Commons yet. Please excuse my mistakes, I am willing to improve myself. With many thanks, best regards --Steve Icemen (talk) 14:35, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- No need to apologize. I've been here 5 years and it's still a learning curve. Cheers! --Skeezix1000 (talk) 18:41, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
File:Steve_Montador.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

- I'm no expert on licensing, you can tell me what licenses are accepted by Flickr? I had transferred the file from the english Wikipedia to Commons, and thought this is desirable. Please help me, thanks. --Steve Icemen (talk) 08:46, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, the above message is just the default when filing a DR. Nothing of this is your "fault", the problem are the conflicting statements by the Flickr user. --Túrelio (talk) 09:24, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
