File:David K Williams Chief Executive Officer of Fishbowl.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

[edit]I just noticed that you deleted a photo I added to the Commons: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:David_K_Williams_Chief_Executive_Officer_of_Fishbowl.jpg. Thank you for doing your best to keep Wikipedia free of improperly used copyrighted material, but in this case you erred on the side of caution. I assure you this photo is not the property of any corporation or institution, and it's simply one that was taken via personal camera. I'm not sure how to prove this because by its nature it is difficult to prove that something whose ownership is not established anywhere online or in print truly came from the source I say it came from. How can I prove that this photo being included on Wikipedia is not in violation of anyone's copyright? Thank you for your help with this. I'm still learning Wikipedia's nuances, so I appreciate any insights you can give me. Robertlo9 (talk) 20:00, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Robertlo. I did not delete the file, I nominated the file for deletion. We can't be sure about own work claim for small files with no EXIF -like this one. So, admins can delete these files according to this policy. You can make a contact with User:INeverCry for better and more information. Have a nice day...--Rapsar (talk) 21:33, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- How do I include an EXIF with a file? Robertlo9 (talk) 14:51, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- As far as I know, it is included automaticly to files. If you really the original creator of the file, you can make a contact with INeverCry.--Rapsar (talk) 16:56, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
