Thanks for uploading File:GheorgheCormos3x4.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:GheorgheCormos3x4.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

BOCM - Thanks for the instruction on getting images properly registered. My first time loading images so good to figure this out now. Looks like a few ways to skin the cat. I'll try to resolve it timely but please be patient if I need to try several ways and reload until we get it right. RedDrum1824 (talk) 23:32, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK - working it RedDrum1824 (talk) 23:32, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Permission in progress now. I will work on permissions for others next. It looks like the page where I added these images has removed them. I'll add back this one and see if it sticks this time. Thanks for your guidance as I work through this. RedDrum1824 (talk) 09:10, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BOCM: Looking at the edits page I see your note: "5% is the minimum threshold for inclusion..." Can you provide more guidance on this? 5% of what? Because excluding candidates delegitimizes them. Democrats are just 32% of registered voters in NC, and Republicans are 30% -- the rest of us are 38%. Based on this, people are looking for alternatives to Rs and Ds, and Wikipedia is in a good position to provide answers to this plurality. I would think the bigger issue is formatting when there are 3 candidates vs. 2. The page gets ugly. This may be why on the presidential page Wikipedia excludes Joe Kennedy, who is polling above 5%. I'd like to work with you on how to best get included on this page, address any formatting concerns, and get better information to the users of this page. Thx. BOCM - I researched and see "The 5% rule" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Five_percent_rule. Polling is a bit hard to find, but there is a poll from High Point University showing 5% support for the Libertarian Candidate in the US House race. I will provide links in that entry and will revisit this Council of State posting once I resolve the licensing for the associated image file here, or provide a new image. Thx. OK. Working it! RedDrum1824 (talk) 23:33, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BOCM - Progress! The image file for SteveFeldman3x4.jpg has been validated with permission information. Also, an April 5, 2024, poll by High Point University, here: https://www.highpoint.edu/blog/2024/04/hpu-poll-n-c-registered-voters-say-inflation-and-national-security-are-top-issues-for-d-c/, shows that Steve has 5% support, which appears to be the criteria to include Steve in the Info Box on this page, per this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Five_percent_rule. To be clear, the High Point poll shows 5% for "{US House of Representatives] Candidates from other parties," which for US House NC District 10 there is just a single "other party" candidate, who is Steve. So, I think we have the bases covered on this one -- but hoping to get your OK or other input before I try to push the changes again. If we can clear the hurdles with this one, I'll work on getting my other input up to this standard. Your thoughts? RedDrum1824 (talk) 21:30, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
