CityRail Stations

Hi there - thanks for your contributions on CityRail stations. If you get around to adding more, can you please add the Category:Train stations in Sydney category tag to the bottom of the photo information; it's hard to track what's on here if we don't have categories. Category Renaming

The categories have already been determined in this way, and should be kept the same as Wikipedia for consistency. There's no difference between suburbs and rural localities, unless they have the same name, which is rare. JROBBO 01:56, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Adjust your robot

For Christ's, Allah's and so on sake: adjust your frigging robot. If it says: "Source: self-made" it just days that. Go away!!!!!! If author =username it means that your robot is crap if a warning emanates! Cheers, and happy fiddling with the settings of your robot!! Adjust your Brain

Hey man, I can't perform magic, sorry.

If you say "self-made" it means nothing. I can't understand under what license you want to upload that image, do you want {{GFDL}}, {{GFDL-self}}, {{PD-Self}}, {{Cc-by}} or what??? If you say that it is self made, it can be also under copyright! (I can make a screenshot, that's made by me, but it's under copyright!).

So... don't make me waste other time and fix your license, I'm not stupid and not also my Bot. Follow the rules, or you'll have problems.

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Speedy deletions

Hi, you recently nominated File:Fpee.jpg, File:Openp.jpg, and File:Womanpee.jpg for speedy deletion with the reasons given as "porn". While this may bring up a valid point in a deletion request, it is not one of the criteria for speedy deletion. I changed one of your nominations to a regular deletion request, and I was wondering if you'd be able to change the other two to regular deletion requests as well; that way the community can have a valid discussion on it.

Kazakhstan flag

??? What's wrong? I reduced the nominal size, cleaned up code etc., but retained the 1:2 format and relative positioning of objects. I left the visual content totally unchanged. [:File:Kazakhstan - Flags.png]] shows a comparison via the IrfanView svg plugin (a comparison would not yield not any different results). Please reconsider your statement. Reply requested. Regards.
