Hallo Horthy. --Martin H. (talk) 22:15, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
--Admiral Horthy (talk) 10:21, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Gourits River
[edit]Hi, I undid your renaming to Gouritz. The correct spelling is with an S, although apparently many people believe it's a Z. André Kritzinger (talk) 00:05, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'm slipping up. I'm referring to Category:Bridges over the Gourits River
André Kritzinger (talk) 00:06, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, what many people believe is, I do not care. Please look to the official plaques on the bridges. There you could see Gouritz River / Gouritzrivier. --Admiral Horthy (talk) 14:23, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I know, it confused me too. In fact, my own preferred spelling always was with the Z. But I've often seen some weird things on name plaques, so that's why in the end I went by the book. I consulted the Reader's Digest Atlas of Southern Africa, published 1984, ISBN 0 947 008 02 0. It consists mainly of the SA maps our SAAF piliots used on navigation exercises and were drawn by the Geological Survey department. Reproduced in the book "under Government Printer's Copyright Authority 7771 of 22 January 1982." On the maps the river (Gouritsrivier), the river mouth (Gouritsriviermond), the station (Gourits) and the town (Gouritsmond) are all spelled GouritS. File:Kelenföldi pu.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Notification about possible deletion
[edit]Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.
If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called M.Uebel. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name M.Uebel~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
