Blocked Indefinitely
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing Commons. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{Unblock}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. For more information, see Appealing a block.
See the block log for the reason that you have been blocked and the name of the administrator who blocked you.

Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "It's my only account I've ever had. Duke Blind Duke or Meme pas balfring is not me"
Decline reason: "Administrators can block offenders without previous warnings, if they find that useful. For example, I would only warn you for that, but if Didym decided to block you, then he had the right. Now you requested unblock. Users can be unblocked, if they understand reasons leading to block and give a credible promise not to continue. Neither can be seen here. You seem to think, that the block was incorrect, actually it was correct (although not blocking for that would be correct as well). At second, I see here no apology for breaking rules. You called uploading the now-deleted file a dumb act, but being dumb is not a crime. I see here no remorse, no promise to become a better user, no promise not to upload such files in the future. That way I cannot be sure, that you will become an useful contributor and you will stay blocked. You said: "block duration that is proportional to the time likely needed for the user to familiarize themselves with relevant policies and adjust their behaviour." As you have not adjusted your behavior to our policies, long block is obviously needed here. Taivo (talk) 17:55, 18 September 2023 (UTC)"[reply]
Administrators: This template should be removed when the block has expired.

You uploaded file:Toby-Fox.jpg, which was deleted as vandalism. Please comment. Taivo (talk) 12:36, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, this has nothing to do with the reason for the block, which is "Abusing multiple accounts" (which is false as I only have this account)
Secondly, as said in Commons:Blocking policy: "For blocks based on disruptive behaviour, such as vandalism, [...], ensure that the user has been appropriately warned, preferably using a block warning template." And "As blocks are preventative rather than punitive, use a block duration that is proportional to the time likely needed for the user to familiarize themselves with relevant policies and adjust their behaviour."
So I recognised that the vandalism was dumb, but to be block indefinitely for that is unfair and does not respect the blocking policy of Wikimedia Commons. Balfring (talk) 13:38, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
