Update

I noticed i often get the tempalte saying [[:]] rather than linking to the filename. I think it might be because languages subpages models are lacking line |1={{{1}}} as parameter as it is on other templates i'm used to. I made the change for english, french and... i think it's bielorussian. I notice it is working correctly now if you navigate from one of this language to another, but it get's back to [[:]] if you try to get the message in a language i did not made the correction (and it stays like that even if you go back to a corrected language, as if parameter 1 was lost in the process). As it is a widely used template, i rather prefer to ask for advices before modifying other language subpages listed on /lang. --Lilyu (talk) 04:25, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Focus on "image"

 Done I changed the English translation version to say "file" instead of image. If you are looking to move the template to a new name that might break a lot of automated scripts. A redirect to this would be warranted but I don't think moving it would really be acceptable after all this time for legacy purposes. --Majora (talk) 21:52, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
