العربية: مُحمَّد الفاتح (1429، أدرنة - 1481، گبزة، قوجة إيلي) هو سابع سلاطين الدولة العُثمانيَّة حكم بدايةً من سنة 1444 إلى سنة 1446 ثُمَّ من سنة 1451 إلى سنة 1481. أهم ما يشتهر به هو فتحه مدينة القُسطنطينيَّة.

English: Mehmed II el-Fatih (1432, Edirne - 1481, Gebze, Kocaeli) was sultan of the Ottoman Empire (1444-1446 and 1451-1481). He is most known for the conquest of Constantinople (Istanbul).

Türkçe: II. Mehmed veya Fatih Sultan Mehmed (Osmanlı Türkçesi: محمد الثانى Mehmed-i sānī, lakabı el-Fatih [الفاتح]) (d. 30 Mart 1432, Edirne – ö. 3 Mayıs 1481, Gebze), yedinci Osmanlı padişahıdır. Babası II. Murad'dır. II. Mehmed, 21 yaşında İstanbul'u fethederek 1000 yıllık Bizans İmparatorluğu'na son verdi ve bu olay birçok tarihçi tarafından Orta Çağ'ın sonu, Yeni Çağ'ın başlangıcı olarak kabul edildi. Fetihten sonra Fethin Babası anlamına gelen "Ebû'l-Feth", Osmanlı Türkçesi ile ابو الفتح, daha sonraki dönemlerde ise "Çağ Açan Hükümdar" ve "Kayser-i Rûm" (Roma İmparatoru, Osmanlı Türkçesi: قیصر روم) unvanları ile anıldı.
