Matthäus (oder Mathäus) Günther (* 7. September 1705 in Peißenberg, Ortsteil Tritschenkreut (damals: Tritschengreith); † 30. September 1788 in Haid bei Wessobrunn war ein bedeutender bayerischer Maler und Graphiker der Zeit des Barock und Rokoko. Er gilt als der bedeutendste Rokokomaler Deutschlands neben Christian T. Winck.
