Be 4/6 1404

[edit]

Is that correct. It certainly doesn't look like an articulated car, and the Karpfen motor cars were numbered from 1416 upwards. Can anybody explain?. -- Chris j wood (talk) 19:20, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This photographer's descriptions have been wrong (usually simply mistyped) on some other photos too; with so many files, a few mistakes are bound to happen. I don't know anything about Zurich's trams, but if you think this type is misidentified and can identify the correct type, please go ahead and correct it; I've done that before on a few Vienna files by this photographer. I think it's unlikely that anyone who hasn't edited this description page before (which only you, me and one other user have done) is watching this talk page, so if you're not sure what type is depicted on this photo, you may want to try asking somewhere more visible, like maybe some relevant Wikipedia portal or WikiProject talk page? Thanks. Since I wrote the above, I've discovered (from article de:Schweizer_Standardwagen) that the number 1404 was allocated to a Swiss Standard tram of the Kurbeli variety. So I'm going to change the description and recategorise on that basis. -- Chris j wood (talk) 17:56, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
