Wer will mir hier einreden, das sei kein Regenbogen? Klar ist das ein Regenbogen, ein ungewöhnlicher Regenbogen, der durch drei Reflexionen im Inneren annähernd kugelförmiger Tröpfen entsteht. Das Sonnenlicht wird hier insgesamt bei den drei Reflexionen und beim Ein- und Austritt aus dem Tropfen um fast 360° aus seiner ursprünglichen Richtung abgelenkt. Als Ergebnis der gesamten Ablenkung erscheint der Bogen im Abstand von etwa 40° von der Sonne. Das blaue Licht wird bei der Lichtbrechung mehr abgelenkt, liegt im Ergebnis daher näher bei 360°, ist also innen zu sehen. Who want's to tell me, that's no rainbow? Of course, this is a rainbow, an unusual rainbow resulting form three refections inside raindrops. The Sun light changes its direction five times, entering the drop, during three reflections and finally leaving the drop. In total the beam is turned by almost 360°, about 40° less than 360°, so that the rainbow is visible at an angle of about 40° to the Sun. The blue light, which is refracted most strongly is therefore close to the Sun forming the inner circle.
