This may actually by the carrier Shokaku. Reviewing the image and comparing it to others, the island does not appear correct for Akagi. A book on Japanese carriers "Maru Special #6 Japanese Naval Vessels Aircraft Carriers Shokaku & Zuikaku" has the image on p6, and states it is of the Shokaku at the Battle of the Coral Sea. It is the same image as the one found on Saipan by Lt William Balden, which he placed in his scrap book. That image can be found here:
