This map is erroneous. South America does not have 80-100% lactose intolerance. Argentina is 80-90% Italian, Spanish, and other European descent, and has a similar lactose tolerance as southern Europe. If this is looking at the Native American lactose intolerance, than if should look at the Native American population in North America as well. This map also does not show parts of west Africa that have high lactose persistence. This map is from a commercial web site and it does not cite where the data for the map comes from. I think this map should be deleted, it is full of errors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sofiav7 (talk • contribs) 23:07, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. This erroneus map should be deleted. This article names Icelanders as Lactase persistent, whereas the map has it the other way round. The northern half of Mexico on the map is Lactase persistent and the southern half is not. Where is the source? --Pp.paul.4 (talk) 13:43, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
