Novi inventi sive machinae artificiosae, terram (...) transvehenti
Description: Kabelbaan in Danzig, in 1644 gebouwd door Wybe Adam uit Harlingen. In rieten manden wordt via de kabelbaan aarde vervoerd van de Bisschopsberg naar de stadswal, om deze laatste te verstevigen. Op de vlakte tussen wal en berg zoeken mensen vertier. Onderaan een legenda in het Latijn en Duits en een lofdicht op Danzig en op het stadswapen. Bovenaan het stadswapen en een portret van Wybe Adam.
English translation (via Google Translate): Cable car in Danzig, built in 1644 by Adam Wybe from Harlingen. Earth is transported from the Bisschopsberg to the city wall in wicker baskets via the cable car, in order to reinforce the latter. On the plain between wall and mountain people look for entertainment. At the bottom a legend in Latin and German and a poem in praise of Danzig and the city coat of arms. At the top the city coat of arms and a portrait of Adam Wybe.
