The word "London" in this diagram is not labeled. It should be labeled as "item" because that is not an obvious word for newcomers to use, but it is used everywhere in Wikidata. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:05, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

- Thanks Kaganer. Perhaps both "Item" and "Label" tags should be added to this diagram. So far as I know, this is the primary diagram which explains the components of Wikidata entries, so this would be a good diagram to develop and make right. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:21, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

- I came across the diagram while reading the introduction to WikiData. The caption reads "This diagram shows you the most important terms you will hear around Wikidata." and item and label are the first terms introduced in the respective paragraph. It would be great to find these terms in the diagram. In my understanding "London" could be labelled as item's label, the entire black box as item with the possible addition of a box containing "Qxxxxx" labelled as ID on top of the black box adding the concept of an ID to the diagram. - Maybe. But "most important terms" is no these same that "all important terms" ;) This schema was designed for d:Wikidata:Glossary (for "Claims and statements" section), not for d:Wikidata:Introduction. --Kaganer (talk) 06:59, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
