See chapter artwork of Chapter 21 (The Tale of the Three Brothers), page 405 of the 1st US hardback edition. MaxHarmony 03:06, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And what does it say or show there? Not everybody has access to that edition. Just curious. I made this drawing here shortly after reading the book and I found the heated discussion about the "right" image rather amusing. But as you see, I still keeo an eye on it. (no pun intended). --Wuselig 08:13, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here's a copy
Oh, I thought it may be something new. Anyhow, enjoy the book, and don't let your imagination be spoiled too much by others. --Wuselig 16:23, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I originaly accepted for the czech article about Hallows the US picture. But few days ago when I red the seventh book again, I realized that the picture I used in the article is wrong. It is not correct (according to the text in the book).
The description in this picture is correct:
a straight vertical line
a circle on top of the line (not over the line)
a triangle enclosing both circle and line
With only one small mistake: the circle is described in the book as a small circle. The picture in the right is a correct symbol of the Deathly Hallows.

CORECTION Both, this version and version I showed here are wrong. Thanks to Davi Williams (from en-Wiki) I can see now the mistakes in my understanding and also in our translation. You can see it and read it by thyself here.
