We have the beginnings of an edit war here with a category removed, reinstated and reverted without discussion on this talk page. I will reinstate a category to show that this image is from an event in Sweden, not just a Europride event in any country. SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:06, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

I apologize for posting at the wrong talk page and not stating my intention in the original edit. I appreciate your educational effort. Let's continue here.

My edit was part of an effort to clean up and structure photos within LGBT Pride in Sweden and its sub-categorys. In this case I looked at other pictures from the same event (Europride in Stockholm 2008) which in general only had the Category:Europride 2008. It looks like other Europride-categorys are used the same way. With that said, I think your point is valid, that it's important to show the location as well. Maybe it is more useful to use both the Europride-category and the category for the local Pride Event (in this case Stockholm Pride 2008)? In that case I suggest we move this discussion to the Europride category talk page since it affects the whole category structure. / Myohmy671 (talk) 12:01, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

Thank you! I see no need to discuss this any further. The image is now correctly categorized as a Stockholm-Pride-2008 event, which sorts under Europride 2008. Completely correct. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 01:31, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
