I think UWUXGA 2560 x 1080 should actually be UWHD (Ultrawide HD), as Ultra Extended in UXGA and WUXGA refers to 1200 vertical lines. UWUXGA, if there were displays in that format, would be something in the vicinity of 2844 x 1200. For a reference to the UWHD name, see AOC's 21:9 2560 x 1080 monitor on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-Q2963PM-inch-Ultrawide-Monitor/dp/B00BLZAYHC.

There should also be a new tag called UWQHD (see LG's website for example: http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-34UM95), referring to 3440 x 1440. Note: that's NOT 3840, it's less wide than both of the 4K standards, but has the same amount of vertical lines as QHD.

I'm willing to correct these things myself, but would like to give more knowledgeable people than myself a chance to voice their concerns or quote reliable more sources on this topic.

New resolution

[edit]

LG now manufactures a larger ultrawide (21:9) monitor, the 34WK95U-W, at 5120 x 2160, and that resolution is titled 5K2K WUHD on their page. Here is the link to the page on their website: https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-34WK95U-W-ultrawide-monitor?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx_WejfaT4QIVgRcBCh1BXw2SEAEYASAAEgJq_fD_BwE

Reworked Internals

[edit]

I remove all the inkscape markup. I remove the translations so all cordinates are using a 9,9 upper left starting position. I removed hard coded css styles and incorporated more CSS classes. I did remove some resolution's that seems to be unpopular because the layout was "busy"/space constrains. I left them in as SVG comments No worries if others can edit and readd them. :) I reversed the arrow head template to make the lines the from text boxes easiser — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThornEth (talk • contribs) 01:33, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect names

[edit]

When/where has 1600x900 been referred to as WSXGA? The only name that I am aware of that this resolution has referred to as is HD+. NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 02:27, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
