This is one of the Castle Line ships Roslin Castle, Norham Castle, or Hawarden Castle, all built in 1883. I don't think it's the Roslin Castle, as photos show some different porthole patterns than that ship. There aren't a ton of photos of the other two ships, so they are hard to tell apart, to the point I wonder if the ships are confused for each other in some of the photos. It seems like the Hawarden Castle had a taller funnel, but it's also possible both ships were refit with shorter funnels later in their lives (or maybe taller). So, I think this is the Hawarden, but far from sure. Carl Lindberg (talk) 04:27, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
