I'm unsure about the representativity of the VP8 encoding performance here. The similarly labeled dataset from the VP9 encode from the same day shows much worse quality than usual.
Reading about data source of File:VP8 vs h264 (file size).svg, it sounds to me like this new one here is still better and more "comparing apples to apples" than that file, though.--Flugaal (talk) 10:15, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
