Plate combination not realistic

@Bazi and Kontrollstellekundl: Hi both! I stronly suspect that the plate is not realistic. The combination BA-26X is very unlikely to exist. The normal version would be BA-X026, the format being BA-X123. I removed the version that focused on the BA-26X plate from all articles. that featured it. you are right, when you zoom in, you can see that somebody has worked on the left side of the "2" and on the right side of the "X" - indeed it was a good work. Regards Kontrollstelle Kundl 17:11, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

@Jetam2 and Kontrollstellekundl: Yes, I often erase whole plate number from prive cars, because I respect their privacy. In this case the plate is too visible part of the picture. So I've erased only two outer digits/letters. :) --Bazi (talk) 10:35, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

It is understandable. The question of how to protect privacy is a complex one. I, for example, do not upload right away, do not indicate the location and focus on the plate not the car. However, when location is obvious like in this case, it is a bit harder. I do think though, that any annonymization should be indicated so that the "users" of the picture do not think the combination is a real one and use it in articles.--Jetam2 (talk) 12:53, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
