Various proposed changes

[edit]
  • Removal of Edinburgh commuter rail: Edinburgh does not have a suburban rail network of its own, but rather is served by a few branches of Glasgow's network.
  • Removal of Leeds: Leeds doesn't have an urban rail network, just a few regional lines which happen to stop in the suburbs several times before reaching the city centre.
  • Changing "Modern tram network" to "Tram network": Since the modernisation of the Blackpool tramway, there are no so-called "traditional" tram networks left in the British Isles (save for the Douglas Horse Tramway). All are modern networks with bidirectional articulated vehicles.
  • Addition of Dublin as having commuter rail (i.e. DART) & trams (i.e. Luas) and name change to "Urban rail in the British Isles". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. British12 (talk • contribs) 18:17, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
