Colour codes

The official UKaid branding guide [1] prescribes the following colour codes:

Blue

• CMYK: 100,85,0,39
• RGB: 1,33,105
• Hex: #003399
• PANTONE: 280

Red

• CMYK: 0,91,76,6
• RGB: 207,20,43
• Hex: #CC0000
• PANTONE: 186C

Now, the colours displayed using these different colour models don't really match, at least in Inkscape on an RGB display (that uses a YCbCr signal). If Hex values are used, the resulting colours are way off compared to the reference raster image. The RGB model renders closest, and is the one I've used for this image.

Note that Inkscape automatically converts RGB values to Hex. — kashmīrī 22:08, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
