Erroneous wording

[edit]

Sorry, but there is almost no difference between the four drawings. In fact, they only differ in colour and in the state of fusion of the 3rd metacarpal (erroneously referred to as 2nd metacarpal in Tarbosaurus) with the 2nd metacarpal (erroneously always referred to as 2nd digit – no the metacarpals constitute the metacarpus which is distal to the carpals and the wrist but proximal to the digits, the digits in turn are distal to the metacarpus, so the 3rd metacarpal never can be fused to the 2nd digit but always to the 2nd metacarpal!). Are tyrannosaurid manus really that similar?! I feel, that it was no real loss if this image would disappear from commons... --Gretarsson (talk) 20:49, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
