According to the only Wikipedia article that uses this image, the green areas are those "identified by Encyclopaedia of Islam as Turkish Kurdistan": "Erzincan, Erzurum, Kars, Malatya, Tunceli, Elazığ, Bingöl, Muş, Ağrı, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Siirt, Bitlis, Van, Şanlıurfa, Mardin and Hakkâri". --Yair rand (talk) 01:28, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Kafkasmurat, you deny it, but in the source you gave, it's written :The major cities of the Kurdish region includes Adiyaman, Agri, Bingol, Bitlis, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Kars, Mardin, Mus, Siirt, Tunceli, Van, Elazig, Erzincan, Erzurum, Kahramanmaras, Sanliurfa, Malatya, Batman and Sirnak So look at the page 27 there please.--Gomada (talk) 17:52, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello all, I am concerned this map is being used on the wiki page for en:Turkish Kurdistan and may be totally incorrect. The references used: Encyclopedia Islamica I am not familiar with but I'm not sure it is reliable enough for such a contentious issue. Also, the FOIA doc is from 1948 and surely cannot be representative of the current situation?! My advice would be to find a good source for this map or it needs to be removed ツStacey (talk) 18:56, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Natuur12: - I saw you protected the image on the 10th Dec ツStacey (talk) 19:02, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In which way do you require my assistance? If you believe the map is wrong just modify it and fork it and replace it at en-wiki. Natuur12 (talk) 20:04, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
