The interpretation of the caligrafic script in the older versions has been critizised. I would be extremely grateful to get feedback from users competent in the field of arabic caligrafy. --Hk kng (talk) 15:49, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The diskussion from de:Benutzer:Diskussion:Hukukçu/Archiv/2016#Tughra did not find clear evidence for the attribution of all strokes to the letters of the text. Quote (translated) from Baba66:

There are two group whrere the theme is dealt with: historians of art and Osmanists...art historians [are] not really interested...Osmanists do not mind the text of the tughra, in addition they often enough have not enough knowledge of the arab language.

My decision therefore is to let the established interpretation stand. The animation does not try to follow the brushwork of the caligrapher, but to give a didactical exemplification of how to read the text of the tughra.--Hk kng (talk) 01:21, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
