@Cryptic-waveform: The skier in this image is just a tiny speck. The guideline for categorization, under "Who?" for categories, says "What is the main subject? What are the noteworthy features of the image?". I don't think a skier that is a few pixels high should count as a noteworthy feature. I would propose putting this image (and File:Tuckerman Headwall.JPG) into the parent Category:Tuckerman Ravine. — hike395 (talk) 08:18, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Hike395: The fact that there is snow in this picture, 5 skiers and obvious ski lines makes me think that the current categorization is the best. But if you still disagree, I won't fight you on this. Cryptic-waveform (talk) 13:51, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Cryptic-waveform: I made an attempt at a compromise: I made new images by cropping the original images down to where the skiers and their tracks are. I put the originals into the parent category and the cropped images into the child category. Does that sound good to you? — hike395 (talk) 17:12, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Great! Thank you. Cryptic-waveform (talk) 17:31, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
