Recommendation for improvement

This tornado map would be greatly improved if it were to not obscure the borders of the states. Here is a crudely constructed example:


I do not have the software to construct the .svg, nor the original map, otherwise I would make this improvement myself. Phoenix7777, perhaps you would like to do this change. One thing it would make clear is how closely the track of the Tri-State tornado of 1925 matched the horrific tornado strike of last week. --Tdadamemd19 (talk) 21:51, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
