In my opinion, this plant should be Cirsium horridulum Michx. I checked the Louisiana checklist [1] for the genus Cirsium and also the key at [2]. In addition I checked for images of all possible Louisiana Cirsium species on the web. Cirsium horridulum seems to be the only match. I must add that I am a complete newbie regarding Louisiana wildflowers and that I have no floras from the area either.
