Potential rename

[edit]

Ok. The template really seems to dislike me. It seems to refuse to show my reasons for suggesting a move so thought I'd explain here: The painting is of two sisters, both daughters of Louis XIV of France and his mistress (Madame de Montespan) on the left is Francoise Marie de Bourbon, known as "Mademoiselle de Blois" (1677-1749) future Duchess of Orléans. and the right is the elder Louise Francoise de Bourbon, known as "Mademoiselle de Nantes" future Duchess of Bourbon (1673-1743. I don't get why the template seems to dislike me. Simplegoose (talk) 22:31, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, quick request

[edit]
I think it should be moved to "English: Two daughters of Louis XIV of France and Madame de Montespan showing Francoise Marie de Bourbon, "Mademoiselle de Blois" (1677-1749) future Duchess of Orléans with her older sister Louise Francoise de Bourbon, "Mademoiselle de Nantes" future Duchess of Bourbon (1673-1743) by Philippe Vignon".

Hello, I have tried to request a move on an image but the template really seems to hate me. This image is just to the side. I request it as the image is of sisters one of whom was known as "Mademoiselle de Blois prior to her marriage. Her actual name was Francoise Marie and the uploader seems to have got the two mixed up in a strange way. Plus I think it's important for images, especially paintings to have the artists name in the title for quick reference. I was wondering if you'd move it on my behalf?

Thanks anyway. But just thought I'd say.

  1. "Portrait of Francoise-Marie de Bourbon and Louise-Francoise de Bourbon by Philippe Vignon" (as here [1]) -- or
  2. "The sisters Mademoiselle de Blois and Mademoiselle de Nantes by Philippe Vignon" (as in en.wiki).
The name is not so important... The searching machine is searching in file descriptions, too.
Which version do you like best? Wieralee (talk) 22:11, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes that is probably a tiny bit to long. Yes instead I vote ""The sisters Mademoiselle de Blois and Mademoiselle de Nantes by Philippe Vignon". Simplegoose (talk) 23:04, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
