I'm pretty sure the photo was taken in "Via Duca di Misterbianco", Adrano, Catania. The tower in the background should be Adrano's "Castello Normanno". Local writer Carmelo Russo agrees with this conclusion, and used this photo as the cover of his book. 79.20.186.139 17:19, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
