This map could be improved:

  • The boundary of the ORDLO (certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) seem to follow raion boundaries, and not the actual line of contact. The approximate location of the latter can be found in maps in, e.g. OSCE monitoring mission reports (example).
  • The base map shows raion boundaries, but oblast boundaries are much more useful.
  • Major cities would be useful.
  • A base map showing adjacent regions outside Ukraine would provide orienting context, e.g., at least with the Black and Azov seas, other state boundaries, etc.
