The fussy back of the Tarbosaurus loosk unlikely, considdering the Tyrannosaurid family as such appears to have had reduced to non-existent filamentous covering. The scales on the belly side should extend all the way up to the spine. See Bell & al 2017 Tyrannosauroid integument reveals conflicting patterns of gigantism and feather evolution.
