Esculape or Hermes ?

[edit]

I'm not sure at all it is Hermes; I took the photograph and did not invent it was Esculape. I will check again as soon as I come again in this museum. Jack ma (talk) 07:35, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A statue has attributes (symbols) of Hermes (Roman eqvivalent Mercury): winged cap (petasos), caduceus (kerykeion) entwined by 2 serpents. --SolLuna (talk) 18:23, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I renamed the photograph to Hermes. The museum (or I ?) was probably mistaken by his rod. Jack ma (talk) 05:58, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
