2015: Apache OpenOffice
[edit]Note that Apache OpenOffice 4.1.2 was released on October 28, 2015. I think this deserves a dot in the timeline, with the 4.1.2 version. -Mardus /talk 00:09, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Mardus,
- why does it deserve a dot? It's only a minor security and bug fix release. At the whole graph are only major releases listed. Otherwise you would have ~10 releases for every neooffice version and the same for libreoffice!

- Updates to Apache Open Office are rare, so 4.1.2 would be justified in order to mark a release. -Mardus /talk 14:15, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
2021: Collabora Office and Collabora Online
[edit]Collabora are highly active developers of LibreOffice, they also develop enterprise ready versions called Collabora Office and Collabora Online. I believe these should be added to the timeline, I might have a go at updating the file myself ....unless I should not or someone else does this? --12think (talk) 08:57, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
The NeoOffice line should perhaps redirect to LibreOffice
[edit]I think that the NeoOffice line, instead of ending suddenly, should redirect to LibreOffice, similarly to the IBM Symphony -> AOO transition.
The official website of the project guides users to LibreOffice and the main developer nowadays contributes to LibreOffice, including select parts of the NeoOffice codebase. Just a recent example: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice/2024-February/091579.html
