Permissions soup

[edit]

The following should be a listing of things that I do or don't have information about:

  • Added sources to the image;
  • Added the __MTL__ tag to permissions, because this is the default tag for Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey, although I don't know which of the three license applies, as the operating environment in the screenshot seems to be *NIX-based and it's not known which distribution is used and what license it uses (presumably GPL 2). Chances are that because of this, all three licenses may apply;
  • Added the __trademark__ license, as it is certain that the Thunderbird logo is trademarked;
  • Content at UWOMeds wiki was licensed under GFDL-1.2. Apart from the Thunderbird UI, some user-generated content is probably under this license. Everything else is likely to be under default copyright (not sure about spam) and for certain includes titles of what appear to be legitimate e-mails (any of which are in minority becase of the nature of the screenshot).

    What I don't know, is whether only GFDL 1.2 applies to the screenshot, even if it was the only license at the UWOMeds wiki.
  • With all this in mind, I am not sure if the GPL license (specified once in text under Permission and once more as a tag under License section) applies at all. Most probably the GPL license was added for images uploaded before the UWOMeds image was uploaded.
