Edited version of an image

Under the main displayed image, there are links for the same file at different resolutions:

"Size of this preview: 696 × 600 pixels. Other resolutions: 279 × 240 pixels | 557 × 480 pixels | 891 × 768 pixels | 1,207 × 1,040 pixels"

The following links work fine: 279 × 240 pixels ; 557 × 480 pixels ; 891 × 768 pixels. However, the link to the full-resolution file (1,207 × 1,040 pixels) links back to the original file, rather than the original of the most recent edit. The thumbnail for the most recent edit is also distorted. This bug has been around for a while - am I doing something wrong when I upload an edit of an image (to replace the original).
