File talk:Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines in Taipei.jpg
I created this file today but was unable to upload it in an upright position. I have requested that it be rotated but am not sure I have made this request properly. If there is anything that can be done to help with this process I would be very grateful. John E. Hill (talk) 02:16, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- You did everything right here. Rotation requests may be easier by using RotateLink the next time. The image was not upright since you preprocessed (probably just rotated) it with a non EXIF orientation aware program like Windows photo gallery (see Commons:Rotation). Or your camera just did make a orientation mistake. Cheers --Saibo (Δ∇) 12:26, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
Reply Dear Saibo - thank you very much for your help with my recently uploaded images. I am glad this one is now O.K. and I have just sent an email to: permissions-en@wikimedia.org about the File:De_Havilland_53_Interceptor_aircraft_sketched_by_A._E._(Ted)_Hill._1930s.jpg&diff=next&oldid=71444595. I hope this resolves any difficulties but have asked them to let me know if it doesn't. Again, thanks so much for you kind help. I really find the whole processa of doing proper attributions on uploaded files rather difficult - and obviously make some mistakes. All best wishes, John E. Hill (talk) 01:21, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
