Colour

[edit]

Could this be amended with either the white areas or the background coloured differently - whatever is easier? White on white is never a great idea, and there's only a few colours in use here, not like everything in a certain range had been used. Thanks. Crowsus (talk) 14:42, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Crowsus and Octochamp: I've just noticed it :). I've had no problem with white on white when there are black on white borders. I used white as a neutral colour for average values, so if there is a problem may be light grey? This dark yellow is wrong because is more similar to the extreme values - brown. The yellow follows logically as an intermediate between the green and brown. White or grey does not inherently nonverbally convey 'average values', this would be better expressed elsewhere. Octochamp (talk) 14:22, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Where would this be better expressed? If grey contains all colours in equal ratio, and it is used sometimes by professionals to set colour balance, I don't know what colour is more average. Could you give examples? And this dark yellow is brownish it has R 221, G 192, B 67. PawełS (talk) 14:32, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
